This is the month that Maine has fall county fairs. I love them! I posted a thread on this forum about spinning, and I'm sure that there will be someone there. There is a big exhibition hall where people put crafts, food, 4H projects, ect. and Karl and I say every year that he should put something in food wise (he's an excellent cook) and I should put something in craft wise. I think we're going to do it this year instead of just talking about it. Anyone else ever done this?

I've never done that, but I'd sure like to. It would be nice if I could make some extra money with my crafts. Of course it would most likely go toward my furkids! It sounds like a lot of fun though!

I used to put a lot of my canned stuff in the Grange exhibition - we usually won. It was a lot of fun.
Out here the fairs are geared more toward the kids and their 4H or FFA projects. Parents don't seem to have the time or inclination to exhibit much.
