I don't think you are doing anything wrong. In fact, it sounds like you are doing all you can. These types of situations can get very sticky.

I might be wrong N2Bostons, but i think her post was more directed toward that person who assumed they knew she was pregnant right now. that post from that person was pretty arrogant and would incite defensiveness from anyone.

Maybe I am wrong...I just think that was the post she was referring to.

But regardless..to the original poster. All of us here urge you to do everything in your power to make sure your baby is safe when going to her father's. I konw it is frustrating as hell when teh courts tell you that you HAVE to let her go. Just keep being diligent on this.

You need to call child protective services if you have ANY doubts about what he could be doing that might be wrong. If they do nothing go to the police! Make him take a lie detector. If you find out that you were wrong, apologize and celebrate!
There is nothing wrong with having a drink, lord knows I like my vodka. The problem does not go away though, no matter how much you drink.
Once again my concern is for the kid. What you do in your spare time is your buisness. If you have to get his rights relinquished...screw the child support.

Thanks, but I did contact CYS several times. I also contacted the police. They told me that unless there were marks on her body that they couldn't do a thing. You can't force someone to take a lie detector test if the police won't intervene. Furthermore, that lie detector test won't hold up in court because they aren't admissable. What really sucks is the fact that from a legal standpoint, no matter what I do, my hands are tied.

At least I know I've got her in therapy so she can start to get the help she needs. I'm doing my best here. And that's a start.

I would go ask for an emergency temporary restraining order. I have seen it done and you can ask for him to show he has a stabel environment with a place for her to sleep before he can have her in his care.
