Well I kind of joined a DnD group but they all know each other and are close (for the most part) friends...
So I might make some friends or I just might go some times then give up... I am not really that good at meeting people in person... That and we only meet each other sunday for like maybe 5-9 hours so not really that easy to get to know people... I am trying at lest. I just want to try to keep going as that is all I can really do right now. Get up each morning do what I need to do and then go to bed and do it again the next day... Not much fun but it keeps me from doing some thing dumb... |

Hey Nat! I am sorry I wasn't around this weekend. I was having some "issues" myself. I am glad you talked to your sister. I agree with what someone else said, I do think she will come around. What is a DnD group?? I am glad you are getting out and meeting people. You just never know who you may run into!

a DnD group is a group of people who play Dungeons & Dragons.
Well I play Dungeons & Dragons. We are playing a setting where you can use any d20 game you want so we have stuff like Jedi and all kinds of stuff. I am a Psi User my self ^_^ PnP RPGs have helped me a lot in my life (and the last 2 years they have kind of saved my life >.>) and finding a group is a BIG thing for me... |

Well, that's perfect. You've just gotta do the stuff you enjoy, and life will brighten for you. If you really like animals, a pet is a perfect addition to your life. Not only do they not pass judgement, but they give you something to live for. Heck, I used to be suicidal when I was younger (still am young, but that's why I said 'younger' and not just 'young'
 ) and then I got my ratties and bonded so strongly with them that every time I thought of stupid thoughts like that, I always remembered that I couldn't do it because no one else would care for my babies and they didn't deserve that. I personally don't think that you 'need' counseling unless if it will honestly help you. I used to HAVE to go to counseling, and when they bitched at me for doing something stupid, it just made me think that the entire world was against me, including people that were supposed to 'help' me. Do NOT go to change how you are, go to better understand yourself. Don't let ANYONE make you feel like crap, if they can't support you for who you are, then that is their problem, not your's. Don't give up on the D'n'D group yet. You're new, it'll take a bit of time, but they'll warm up to you and you'll make friends. |

Nat: I hate to say this but if you are struggling to get things together right now financially I would hold off telling your sister that you are living with. I have family who is very closed minded and something like this would be enough for them to put a relative out. It sucks but its the truth. One thing you do need to realize is that other peoples opinions do not validate you. The opinion who counts is YOURS. Personally I think you need counseling, not to deal with the TS issues alone, but I have a feeling you have a bush load of issues just from growing up alone. If you would like to tell me where you are located I can do a web search for you for free counseling even though you sound very pc savy. Allot of local pride groups do offer free therapy, and groups that will help you make sense of your thoughts/feelings. D&Ders are very understanding and friendly. Have you been to any of the conventions? They may be close friends now, but I guarantee aftera few games you will fall right in. What RPG's did you play in? I think the costumes for some are way cool. Its amazing to go to the conventions! You definantly wont feel alone anymore. There are also allot of forums for that. I would suggest 1. get your life together financially. 2. get therapy 3. get your own place or look for looking for roommate ads 4. make friends at local gaming/comic book venues 5. once things are settled and safe for you consider how you feel about yourself and why. When you have allot of other things going on in your mind things can be very confusing. You are welcome to PT me anytime.

Well I am not dead...
Still feel like crap and I work today so I have to spend 4 hours (Still working almost no hours so I think I am going to have to get a job to work no my off days...) being nice to people on the phone... That takes a lot out of me... Financially I am doomed for some time. The job I have now is $6.50 an hour and unless I work full time I can JUST cover my rent and food... Then I head off to college next fall (well I hope...)... So for a long time coming now moeny is going to be hard... The only thing I can see for me being ok with money is if I can sell this CCG I am working on... If I can do that then money will be ok for a little... -_- Meeting people is hard for me to... REALLY hard... I just have never done it really. so when I try I have no idea what so ever about what I need to do... I am just starting to think I am doomed... |

Well, just try to hang in there. I know it's easier said than done. Just try to think about the positive things in your life such as your health and the fact that you do have family. Remember that you are who you are. If you can't get the support you need from friends or family, you can always get it here.

CCG = Collectible Card Game
Think Magic: The Gathering. I have been working on one for a little over a year now and it is almost done. I just need to find some play testers to try out some stuff then write up the rest of the cards... Not bad seeing as most CCGs by this stage are being worked on by groups of like 15 people before market. My CCG is kind of the center of my free time right now. I spend most my time thinking about ideas for it. A lot of times it is what keeps me going. I WANT to see it on market. I want to see peoples face as they play it for the first time. It's my dream... |

Ya it does cost a crap load...
I picked bad hobbys to like for being poor... Oh well... I really don't want to goto work today... At lest it is middle of the week so it will not be so bad... I just hope I am feeling better by the weekend... |

Well, I am not sure there is such a thing as a hobby that isnt expensive. Maybe rock collecting? lol Get some sunshine, it helps anyones moods. Do you have insurance under your parents still? If so you could talk to them, you may be suffering depression.
