This morning when I climbed out of bed ready for a new day, I started it as I always do.
Today was different though, today I looked at myself long and hard in the mirror and was saddened by what I seen staring back at me.
Somewhere over time I have become a person I didn't know. As I went on about my day I kept going back to the reflection I had seen earlier and started to thinks of how others might view me.
I asked myself, Am I an honorable person?
Do I judge others unfairly?
Do I look for the bad in people before I look for the good?
Do I thrive on others misfortunes?
Do i kick others when they are down?
The more I thought about these questions, the more saddened I became because I knew what the answer was.
I am not an honorable person because I do judge others to quickly and I expect to see the bad in a person far quicker than I expect to see the good.As of late i have even gotten myself involved in kicking some when they were down.
So Now what to do.....
I sat down today and I wrote this down so I could read it over and over in hopes that in the future I can look at myself in the mirror and say....
I love the person I see

***Denise hopes that this is RR trolling and coming to grips with the ice cold way she's been acting on this board, and probably her entire life.***

It doesn't really matter who it is, it's a very nice sentiment and there are plenty of others around here would do well to take a good look in the mirror at themselves.
Debating and disagreeing about things is all well and good, but there's something very wrong with deliberately and thoughtlessly hurting people just because you can.

I agree and i think it is a wonderful thing that this person, whomever he or she may be, has come to this realization about themselves. It is not easy to identify our own shortcomings. It is much easier to identify the shortcomings in others. So my hat's off to the original poster on this thread. Good job for seeing deep inside of yourself.

Now move on to phase two and figure out WHY you relish in kicking others when they are down. identifying it is not enough. You have to figure out why internally that you do this so you can be on your way to correcting it.

To treat the symptom without treating the disease will leave you frustrated.

I totally agree. It's so much easier to lay blame on and lash out at others than it is to examine one's own inadequacies. Unfortunately some people simply don't have the guts to face up to things, and so they continue to lie to themselves and justify their actions in their own mind.

They might think they are a "winner" by stepping on others to make themselves feel superior, but they are actually the ones who lose out in the end. People like the OP who are willing to dig deep down and admit their wrongs, to themselves and others, will always come out on top.

Well if we had any question before i guess we don't now...yes this was obviously RR's post. It is almost the same thing she said in her email to TW. My question is why post it anonymously.

As I said in my post on Breeder's Corner tho RR, don't blame BBC for your actions.

it is sad that someone must blame other's for their own actions. No one held a gun to your head. I am sorry if someone believes that a faceless person can make you do things you normally would not do. if you live by the sword you must die by the sword~!
