I get nervous whenever i venture too far away from my house. It is like a magnet pulling me back. It may be because all of my belongings are in the house, but the 'pull' can be mighty strong. I think also this is getting stronger the older I get. Once I get up and out, and get a certain distance away, all the anxiety goes away and I am fine. It is just the part about leaving that makes me stressful.
Well maybe it's a flashback from a back experience that you may not even remember. It could be just plain ol fear. FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real remember that the next time you want to leave and see if it might help. You can repeat it as many times as necessary to convince yourself--fear only exists in our minds. You know if you think it, then it's very real to you, don't get me wrong--the idea is to change the way you think of it. You could also just resign yourself to the fact that if something is going to happen, then it was meant to happen. Nothing ever happens in your life at any given time unless it's supposed to. Hard to believe, but tis a fact, my dear.My suggestion would be to go out more often, even if it's just for a walk or to the convenience store. Get yourself used to leaving and pretty soon, it won't even faze you. Grin. Good Luck!!
