PA, sorry big bro, I didn't know you were having problems, I don't come to this section. I am happy that you worked it out, and I am so happy that you guys are still together and communicating.

That he said she said is a pain in the ass. I know what you are going through, keep your chin up, and stay strong, don't let others manipulate you life. Take care!

Hugs and Kissses!

Hi Dill,

I am ok, just took a couple of day break from the board and all the fighting. Seems so childish at times. Now I read what I want, post when I feel the need, and generally just have a good time. Been spending time with my mini zoo here Big Grin.

Sounds like fun, and yes there has been way toooo much bashing, although I hate even alittle bit of it.I try to take up for people when they get attacked by so many people , but they seem to not return the favor so I am trying to keep to myself, but then there are a couple that follow me and bash for no reason.
But I can't let them get bored now can I? Of course not!!
Glad to hear your doing good! You tell that man of yours to be nice, Catherine will snatch you up if he's not careful, LOL!!

I am not myself today either, I'm really a french poodle, but today I decided to be a big ole hound dog.
I think I'll just lay around on the porch and whine. Tonight, maybe I'll get real frisky and howl at the moon. Other than that, I can only hope for good grub for dinner. Big Grin

I wish I could lay around on a porch today! Instead, I am at work, slaving away. It sucks! I am really convinced that my pets have it better off than I do!! Big Grin

PA I feel for you, my son came home three years ago, with wife and one baby, been here 3 years now and 2nd baby came along, mother in law also moved in, with her Pugs, and her I know everything attitude, nobody pays for anything, electric, phone, car insurance, groceries, and there are days, that I want to slam my head up against the wall, the only thing keeps me sane is my dogs. And I baby sit every day, all day, and don't get paid for it. So I know where you are at, with feeling bad angel

sorry to hear your having a rough time as of late BBL. Paul and I made up about 2 days after our fight. Things have been going much smoother now that we watch what we say in front of who. And we always come to the other first with anything so that no one can pull that you didnt tell me that first.

I'm glad things are working out. I love happy endings. These days it is hard to find compatibility with anyone, but once you do, it's great. Good luck to you all.

Somehow maybe you can find a little time out just for yourself and treat yourself a bit. You deserve to feel special because you sound like a very special person with all that you do. Take care of you and remember you are worth it. Smile

I can't add a lot to this thread, but what I do and have been doing for 3 years is, I keep a grateful journal and everyday, I write down at least 3 things that I am grateful for. It sounds a little corny, but when I get to feeling down and blue (it happens to all of us), then I get out the journal and read over all the things I am grateful for.

It's funny how we take so many things for granted in life and never realize it. Whenever I read back, I am amazed at how much all those "little" things add up for me and how much they mean to me on a daily basis.

Just a small thing like someone saying hello in the grocery store or someone letting you get in the traffic for a change, those too are things that I am grateful for as well as all of the big things that come my way.

Also, each time I read back on things I wrote and some days I write down 20 things instead of only 3, just depends on my mood; I am endeared to so many of the reasons that I love my husband and I do think that it makes me pay more attention to him and put out that little extra effort even when I don't feel like it.

I am also reminded of why I do the things I do and I recall why I even started a certain project in the first place. When I first heard this idea of a grateful journal, I had no idea that it would become such a valueable and useful tool to me. Now, I never want to be without it.

well thank you Gail, its kind of you to say that. I have decided, I worry to much, I try to please everyone, and I get upset when my husband is the only one paying the bills, So I took a look at my two babies that live with me and thank god they are healthy (except for a lazy eye) and have been going outside, and playing with them, working a bit with my dogs, and basicaly just enjoying life, as I'm having another melanoma removed tomorrow, we will see where it takes up, I just thank god everyday, that he gave me Gary, god knows that man has taken on a whole extra family, and his mom, and the dogs, but still has time to say, I love you Honey Bear (what he's called me for 30 years now), and when I read some of the posts I know I'm very lucky.

Good for you!!! My mother always told me a relationship is made for two people and anymore and it is sure to fail. So glad things are working out for you two.

That is rough, I know. It is hard enough for use to keep ourselves afloat but when your family needs you what can you do? Just remember someday rather than a nursing home that son owes you two a yacht and spoon feedings, lol!!
