I have been this way ever since I can remember. I loose a lot of chances to do fun things this way. My parents sent me to a therapist when I was a child which said it was high anxioty. I AM THE MOST IMPATIENT PERSON ON THE PLANET!!!! I hate it. I'm pushy, annoying, demanding, and always in a hurry. If I'm getting something new but have to wait, I go crazy during the waiting period. I've lost certain chances to get things this way. If I have to be somewhere at a certain time and I'm running EARLY, I still speed to get there. I still cuss out drivers that are going the speed limit. It's ruining my life. I'm always in a big hurry. How do I slow down? I refuse to take a pill for this. Anyone have any relaxation techneques? (sp)
Yes, I am always curious about others and always worry about what they think of me. I didn't start that til I got married and had kids. I always USED to be the girl who could give a crap less about what people thought. But now I do care. I hate when people are upset with me. I try to please everyone I know anyway I can. But the impatienceness is what bothers me the most. I can't seem to just sit and wait. And I don't work during the day. Maybe that could be why. I'm so board that I have nothing else to keep my mind on but the waiting process.

This might sound silly, but I do jigsaw puzzles. I have one set up all the time and where I can watch tv while I do the puzzles. I can't stand the waiting and it makes me nervous, but somehow the concentrating on the jigsaw puzzle helps to ease the anxiety.
Maybe if you can find some hobby that you really like, and you might have to try several things, but if you can concentrate on that one thing, it might help. Good luck with this.
