You are very welcome. Yes, these few tips really work. Together, just a few people can really make those losers pay! Just the other day i read in the paper how a spammer is going to court for not paying his phone bills... he set up a few toll free numbers, i wonder if i called a few... anyway he owes the phone company a fortune and cannot pay. Just one of many success stories. The more of these guys we put out of business, the sooner we can enjoy the internet again, especially our email accounts.
Let me know your success stories as well. I will try to find an honest webmaster to set up a website for tips as well as success stories. My last webmaster stole a lot of business from me even though i paid him very well. So be careful. You can email me your tips to josephweglarz <at> yahoo <dot> com . Naturally you can keep the spam to yourself but i am happy to chat by email, all those chat programs are not secure so i do not use them. Speaking of secure, is your computer secure??? Did you update your virus program? Why not???? Do you have a spyware checker and spyware blocker? I highly recommend 2 of them, both free.... i will have a link on my temporary website soon so have a look. Some spyware on your computer belongs to some spammers, and once the spyware is gone you will notice your spam volume will go down, in other words you will get less spam. I am here to help you. I almost forgot... this stuff is not a secret! Just tell someone about these tips. Just tell 2 people, someone may thank you for it. Also, ask them to share this with 2 people as well.
If you have a website, why not add some of these tips??? Do you have an ezine or email newsletter? Why not share these tips with your readers? I will be happy to write something if you like, i have before... Hi! Your ideas are great. You sound a lot like my husband. When telemarketers used to call (we finally had our home phone of 30 years disconnected), he was hilarious. If it was a cable solicitation, he would start asking the solicitor what channels they had, which movies they had seen, etc. He just turned the conversation around. If someone called and said we won a prize, he said, "Great! Mail it to me!!" and hung up the phone. Once when someone asked for me, he said, "This Rayna." The solicitor started giggling more and more with every answer. Finally, she was laughing so hard that she hung up on him!!

Great solutions you came up with yourself, sorry you needed to change your phone, more peope need to take action. We can fight back, ask your isp what it is doing? Ask your congress people what they are doing? Do they support the CAN-SPAM bill? Why? and why not? Always remember to report your spam to the ftc. Send the spam with full headers to uce@ftc.gov I know you get a lot but how bad you you want it to stop? Just report one or two, that is all, plus ask two other people to do the same. That is the key, multiplication, if you report just one spam, and ask 100 people to do the same imagine what can be accomplished. For example i was surfing the net in a tea shop the other day and a stranger started to talk to me, about surfing the net from the coffee shop, plus other things...after a short while he said he rarely goes goes online because of spam. He mentioned spam so i said, 'do you report the spam?' he asked what i was talking about, i went to a few websites and showed him. I gave him a sheet of paper and wrote the email address for him and at the top wrote 'report all spam with full headers, if you can, to uce@ftc.gov ' just a few days after i got an email from him, he said he works for a company that sends an ezine to over 10,000 people and he got permission to share 'my secret' with the readers. Long story short, within a week i got over 300 replies, my email was part of the story, whin 2 weeks 2,000 people replied and or asked questions. That is what can happen if you try it. Just tell one other person to try it. As always, your tips and suggestions are always welcome. I may set up a tips website if i can find a webmaster to do it for me.
