While doing my morning chores a few days ago, I noticed one of my little toy breeds was off by himself in a corner. I picked him up to examine him to see if anything was noticeable. Well his genital was swollen, and there was a puncture mark clearly visable!

I rushed him to the Vet. We don't know what bit him, but it sure did a job on him. He has one of those funny hoods on his head now so he can't lick, and he's on antibiotics. He is right here beside me, sleeping right now in his crate.

Forgot to ask the Vet if this would cause any permanent damage. I sure hope not. I felt bad that we had not treated the kennel with pest control products this spring yet. It's all done now, and I'm relieved about that. Last year was awful, lots of wasps.
