Note to all regular posters on the breeders' forum: the recent registration of all three of the posters on this thread looks like troll work=ar people who want to make dog breeders look bad. If it isn't........maybe I need to retract my statement........till I am proved wrong I will watch what I feed/ say to these new posters ! charly

I am NOT AR far from it! I saw this pic and did not know what was on the neck and I had post back when this was buy below and thought I could get someone opinion.
I was lead to this site during my search for our new puppy. At breeders corner I hoped to meet some breeders and gain some knowledge. Actually am looking for a English Bulldog breeder. I visited a site where a large picture of this pup was posted with what happened to its neck, and some information on that breeder. When you see something like that you don't forget it. In addition, thank you charly for the warm welcome. I wasn't trying to make breeders "look bad" by sharing what I had learned about the photo. I feel any breeder that chains a puppy is "bad". I am sure others would agree.
Yes, please watch what you say as I do NOT troll and don't like being accused of doing so. If you look at my other posts, I have posted about my snakes and even put up a pic of one. But I'm willing to forgive you ..... this time.

I am sure Charly didn't post it to be rude. But I will tell you, here we have had a good share of troll posters of the years. So we look hard at newbies. It is not that we don't like new posters it is just this forum can become a free for all sometimes.
Thank you for the welcome. I don't troll but having read this forum and perusing through things, it's easy to see why the regulars would tend to feel that way. I posted something that I thought would be fun to do and it already got ruined by someone who felt they needed to get their digs in. I don't understand why people do that. Whats the point in trying to make other people miserable on a message board?

Are you sure it was me??? I don't have a van. Most likly won't go to hickory. I do show most every month but mostly to ones that I can drive to and back, unless I can get my son to milk the cow. =)
well this pup was at a person/breeder and i know she is a puppy miller but she had this pic on her web site and that is what i thought was wrong with the neck so hey tail have you heard from blackriverdanes i have not heard from her in a longtime...

Oh yeah I didn't realize that. If it was a collar then it would to have been around the shoulders too. Weird. Maybe it was an injury? Trying to jump the fence??

I agree TW. I think a collar rub mark would be much higher than that. I don't think that's the problem. Unless, the dog was chained outdoors and was constantly pulling on the collar/chain...then that would explain it being that low.
