Wow those are really pretty TW and Amberleigh. Certainly not your everyday bunnies. Nice job with them.

OK, here is a better shot of a Otter mini rex. TW's pic is kinda from above and it's hard to see the detail of colors.

OK, that picture was not very big but you can see the color rings a bit better. They are actually supposed to have a ring of orange around the eyes, ears, body edges. That is followed by white. The body color is black, blue, lilac, or chocolate and the undercolor is coordinated with the surface color. The chin is an agouti pattern which means the coat has "rings" with an undercolor of white or grey. White is correct but grey happens. I could go into pages and pages of details on chins as i have loved them for many, many years and one day I will get back to them. I miss my buns!!

I am still learning. when we first started showing rabbits, Otters were a DQ in mini-rex. and when I stopped showing the mini-satins still were not yet accepted. so this is a new adventure for me Smile
I hear that Otter mini-satins only have to pass two more years to become a new variety. clap

TY HB!

Yes but not sure WHEN I can. I need back up just in case the bun decides that he doesn't want to. He is molting (Too much calf manna)so looks like a well loved stuffed toy right now. I am going to try and get a pic of the blue otter doe soon though. I feel she needs more width, but the judge liked her.
