Didn't get information from anybody.. Just been my experience from people that I know that have owned little dogs... You saying it can never happen and little dogs can't live to a ripe old age of 17 or 18?

My friend had a litter of pups (I was there saw them being born).. Well first there was a male born.. then a female.. then another male.. Well guess what? I kept the female that was born inbetween those two males and she pee's like a male.. lifts her leg on everything and never squats like a female.. It also goes vice versa for the males.. I have seen alot of males not lift their legs when they pee and squat like females because they were inbetween two females in the womb...
If you don't believe it.. next time you have a litter see if you have a female born inbetween two males or vice versa.. and if you do.. watch that puppy as it matures and you will see what happens.. I guarantee you it will take on the bathroom habits of what ever sex it was born inbetween..
you are a dipshit what a load of crap that is female dogs often lift their leg to mark its not uncommon and your theory is bullshit stupidity typical of you. yes i am a floozy, since that is what you will say as a comeback let me beat you to it at least i am a floozy with a f*cking brain. CJK one would like to think she is kiddin but i think you can guess she is not she is just that stoooooooopid
AHHH!! You got me girl!! I wondered if you were kidding.
They bark alright..all the damned time. I use a squirt gun (water) on them, they seem to hate water/rain..and they stop just at the site of the water pistol. Call me cruel, somebody will.
Nasty, yes, they can be, but I've been really lucky, mine have excellent temperaments, but I've met some even the vet won't touch without a muzzle. They are hounds and will kill, mine had a badger surrounded the other day and I broke it up, but it wasn't easy, they don't give up once they start.
That kitten killing story you told is upsetting, I know they will do that, and as much as I love the breed, they can be heartless.

I lived next door to my Grandpa so he saw me everyday. He snapped at the kids and he killed a whole litter of kittens, they were in their box and my Grandpa left him out whenever he went any where and came back to blood everywhere. Must have been the prey drive in him? But he was raised around cats. Also he would crap everywhere in the house mostly under the kitchen table, we would be eating and smell something look down and see pee and poop. He only got nice when he was very old and when my Grandpa wasn't around, he lived to be like 17.

Heartless! LOL Its just their instincs. My dogs have a prey drive too. I had some chickens and my bitch got in with them and ripped ones head off. I went out and saw it laying there and saw blood all over then realized it had no head!! So I was like WTH where is its head? I found it about 4 feet away. But you know what? That dog is a GREAT hunter! They are good around cats because they were raised with them but they would kill other things if I let them. GSP's were also bred to take down small game and bring it back.
Yes, they are hunters, I agree, that's what these hounds were bred for: Aww, poor chicken "with it's head biten off" ..at least you found it..LOLOL. I had one funny thing happen. I live on acreage and do get mice every now and then. I hate that, but they don't live long. One day I heard a racket like none other. The dogs had circled this poor little mouse, in a donut formation and well, it had no chance. They were so proud of themselves, they all looked at me, like, "hey" look..we got him" But they will take on just about anything and although it takes a couple of them at times, they are effective. I'll bet that dog of your's is a great hunter! At least your's will go into water, try getting a dachsie to hunt like that!!LOL
I have an area that is all soil, it used to be grass, but they dug and dug and burrowed til there was no grass left, so after trying 4 times to re grow grass in that area, I gave up..let 'em dig, they love it. It looks awful though, sometimes I can only see the "rear" end of them as they are so far into the hole they've dug.

I had a female Yorkie several years ago that, although, she had been raised around cats/kittens one day just out of nowhere killed an entire litter of 6 newborn kittens in a matter of less than 5 minutes. She systematically bit each one in the head. I was sick to my stomach over it.
My vet really had no explanation, but told me that since she did it once, she would probably continue doing it if she had the chance. I gave her away to a friend a few days later. I was so sickened by it, I couldn't even stand to look at her anymore.
Although I realize it was instinct, I just could not take the chance of a repeat performance. I still miss her. She was a very sweet dog up to that point.
My friend has Yorkies and she says they do get into it now and then and can be quite nasty.
Sad you lost the kitties, and miss the Yorkie, I know how that feels, I had one female, that wouldn't stop trying to get at another female's pups, oddly, she didn't want to nurse them or take care of them, she wanted to kill them. I had to give her away to an older lady with no plans of ever breeding anything. She didn't start this til she was around 3 years old, so it hurt to let her go, but my vet said the same thing to me as your's did.

Yea, it sucked. Three must be the magic number because that's how old mind was when this happened.
Not to mention, I could never get her fully house trained. But I put up with it because I loved her, but when she killed those kittens I just could not keep her anymore.
She is now 10 yrs old and is doing great, but she is in a home where she is the only pet.
