As Brandi has grown, her bouncing has become more airborne. Today she bounced right into the lap of her Cardiologist. By time we were ready to leave his clinic, he declared her not only "oh so cute" but healthy as a Boxer can be. Murmur free and ready to rock!
Bearing in mind she will have more testing as she matures, but for now this was a huge hurdle in a breed that definitely has more than its share of heart issues.

ANYTIME you can leave the cardiologists office with a smile on your face and a normal result is cause for celebration with "heartbreak" breeds (pun intentional) like boxers or dobermans. Great news!

That two week profile is to die for! I love her substance and STRONG pasterns.
I remember the bee sting episode.
Quite the little lady you've got there.
Some are here because they hope to make a difference, others like to roll around in the feces. You'll be able to "sniff them out" in no time. -DJ's Doxies,
Thank you folks LOL---and Hu, I was not going to enter her in your dog show. But thanks for the kind comments Right now she is my baby girl. I have a strong hunch 2007 will be a fun year for us both.

Yes Murrey, I have one of those "heartbreak" breeds. In December we recieved pretty much the same rating as Brandi! Instead of cute as can be, "Healthy as a horse" was the terminology!
Welcome to the KLUB Brandi! You've now joined Ivy and a few others on here!
One thing I meant to add. As we waited for our appointment, three women came out of the cardiology exam room. One woman held a 3 month old adorable Rottie puppy and she was sobbing. As her sister was settling the bill, I told this woman what an adorable puppy she had and I asked what was the matter. She could only said one thing through her tears; "SAS".
Being in Boxers, I did not need to ask any other questions. But I was personally upset as well. At 3 months old this woman should be trying to housebreak her puppy, not hoping he lives another month
