My MIL and I were just talking the other day about how wonderful technology is when it comes to labor. I had a c-section for my first and chose vbac for my second. Isn't it nice that the dr can tell that a c-section is needed? Imagine the complications if not for the medical technology we have.

Congrats again SRT. She is a doll and soon you will wonder how your little baby grew so fast.

Your c-section sounds a lot like mine, except they thought C was 11 pounds rather than the 9.5 he turned out as and since this is my first baby were afraid I'd have trouble getting him out. The day of my section, he hadn't dropped at all and I had had zero contractions....never really even had braxton-hicks. It wasn't *his* choice to be born on 12/31....I suppose he was waiting for my birthday too...which was only 5 days later on 1/5....but the docs decided to go sooner....he was already a week overdue...lol.

BUt I have to say....he was the best Christmas AND Birthday present I could have ever asked for! I was just glad we were home to celebrate my birthday with him in my arms Smile

Good luck with her SRT. She's already growing like crazy and before you know it, you'll wonder where your newborn went! *Hugs* to you for a terrific job and smooches to those sweet little Mac cheeks!

HB

I pushed out a 10 pounder!! LOL And with no epidural! I also had an 8 pound premie! LOL

Awe....look at the "Tiny Tinkerbelle."

I'm not one for babies, but LOVE to watch Jr. Handlers grow up. mohawk There are still Boxers to be shown, ya know!

The biggest of CONGRATULATIONS from the Hudare's Crew!

Move over "kids with fur." A new kid's on the block. While I'm sure the dogs will remain a top priority, isn't it strange to see / feel how instantly they fall on the totem pole?

Claiming back my bedroom and sharing with my Grandson this weekend at "Camp Marpran." Razz Now THAT'S where the fun kicks in...........the Grandkids!!!

All the "Bests."

Some are here because they hope to make a difference, others like to roll around in the feces. You'll be able to "sniff them out" in no time. -DJ's Doxies,

What a great picture! Although I don't think I have ever seen a picture of your husband, I have to say that I most definitely see you in this little one. Not just the hair..but in the face too.

Well, I see YOU in her. But then, like I said before, I have never seen your husband that I can recall. But nonetheless..she is gorgeous...

Congrats!

NOW THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL BABY.

She looks like both of you, I think, but then I thought both of mine looked exactly like their Dada at birth, too.

I'm so happy for you guys!

Yes she truly is.

And coming from me..you can take that to the bank. I absolutely hate it when people just automatically say.."oh what a cute baby" when it is NOT true.

Most babies are totally ugly. Mine included. Now my first two were really adorable as newborns, but my 3rd one was just down right homely.

So, I am not one to say a baby is cute if it isn't...but THAT baby is SQEEZABLY cute!! I want to squish her little cheekies.

ETA: Sorry sweetie... I love you to death, but you WERE FUGLY as a baby.

NOW????I think he's beautiful.

Not to mention he is a perfect human being who serves our country to the Nth degree!!!
