I am the "rescue" involved somewhat in this. And here is what I know to be fact.
Vaccaro Rottweiler sold Zena to a man called Dean. Dean had tried to contact Vaccaro, but they did not return his calls or emails. Zena has bitten several people and Dean wanted her gone. I do not do owner surrenders. My focus is dogs in shelters that will lose their life unless someone steps up to the plate. I made it very clear that I would not help Dean to rehome Zena and my rescue would not stand behind this dog. That should have been the breeders responsibilty but for whatever reason, they choose not to help.
A plea was put out for a home for Zena. All I and my rescue did was pass the phone numbers on to Dean. We told him very clearly to have his dog spayed before rehoming and to be very careful where he placed her. Seems he was in such a rush to dump this poor girl he couldn't be bothered to check anything out. I have been in contact with the person that has this dog and have made it very very clear that our rescue will pay to have this dog spayed. We did not approve this home, we had no knowledge of these people other than a couple of phone calls. if indeed Vaccaro does read this posting, shame on you for not standing behind your dogs. And for the person that has this dog, the offer to spay her if its not already done still stands. And if you don't do the right thing and spay her, well shame on you. Because in this case, it is totally the ethical option.

Hold on here! Vaccaro did tell Dean she would take Zena back, because she is one of her off spring and she's responsible for the pups she produces no matter what...


When Vaccaro spoke to Dean about Zena, and he told her what was going on, she told him right away she would take Zena back, he said had to think about that, and then he would call her back the next day, but he never did.. She made numerous attempts to call him so the dog would be returned back to her, but to no avil she never did get ahold of him so she thought everything was ok, and if it wasn't he would contact her again.. Then to her surprise she finds out this fayep has Zena (worst person on earth that could have her)...

The biggest BS story of all is, Dean said he tried to get ahold of Vaccaro (3 months afer he told her he would call her, and she had her phone number changed), but he couldn't because other "breeders" didn't know how to get in touch with her either (I guess he called rottweiler breeders in his area), so he had no way of letting her know what he was planning on doing with Zena.. What a load of crap that is, because everybody in the "rottweiler" world knows where Vaccaro lives (in case you haven't noticed they know everything about her), and not one of them could assist Dean out by giving him Vaccaro's address so he could go over there and talk to her about Zena and what they were going to do about her... Don't you find that whole thing kind of odd?

After Vaccaro found out about fayep haveing Zena, she phoned Dean right away and "expressed" how pissed off she was that the dog went to this women, because of the way she treats her animals, and the fact that all she wants this bitch for is "breeding" purposes.. Vaccaro also imformed him that he gave Zena to the wrong person and really should have checked her out first before letting her have Zena..

Vaccaro was more then willing to take Zena back, and like I said, was pissed when she found out he had given Zena to somebody else and not back to her..

Look at the posts above(from Joesphine),and see how adamant fayep is about getting registration papers for Zena, and why is she so adament? Because she wants to breed her, or else she wouldn't care if she has registration papers for her or not.. What good are papers on a bitch if she's spay, right? And yes, your right, Dean should have had Zena spayed before she left his house, I agree with you 100%.. But he didn't and that's where fayep should be doing it...

I bet you in the next year, we will see fayep with a new rottie pup, and I guarantee you it won't be one the she bought, and it will have come from Zena...

Please don't sit there and say how Vaccaro doesn't stand behind her dogs, because she does, and was more then happy to take Zena back, but unfortantly she didn't get her back, and now the dog has to suffer with a women that doesn't even really care about the dog, because if she did, she would be spay right now..
