Well tomorrow miss lacey is 12 weeks old so i took some new pics of her. She was at the vets friday for her final set of puppy shots..just now have to wait 3 more weeks for her rabies shot and she's all done till the middle of october for her spay. in these new pics she's been freshly bathed and blow dried so she's all pretty lol. oh and she also now weighs 4 1/2 lbs.
now for the pics.
Opinions on her are welcome..but remember she's just a much loved pet, not a show girl.
Lacey is a lovely companion with no glaring faults.
She has good boning, with adequate angulation both front and rear. Markings and coat type typical of her breed. Level backed, without signs of weakness. Tail set needs improvement, but may be propper when in movement. Although a sweet expression is present, the finer points of head type for the show ring are lacking.
A perfect "Companion Only" example! What a sweetie!

Love the concentration level on your face in pic #2! A natural! You are doing very well at your first attempts at stacking. Each photo was better than the last.

Thanks for the comments Hu, normally she has her tail up...but she was not happy with me trying to stack her. she wanted down to chase the kittens..they had her cow...hehe..heaven forbid someone else play with HER cow. I've already came to the conclusion i want another shih once she's older so i'm using her as my guinie pig...if i see i can grow her coat out and keep it long without going insane and yanking my own hair out in a years time i plan to start looking for a show puppy. lol..and this october sis has already told me she's borrowing lacey for a day..she wants to show her in the local pet show our animal shelter hosts each year. so for 1 day she gets to be a show dog.

PERFECT! You are wise to test the waters and take it slow.
I had a feeling you might catch the show bug!

She's still quite the little cutie! I can just imagine her with her cow! My lexie loves loves loves her toys! She has a large basket full of them that I keep on top of her pet taxi and every night she goes through to pick which one to play with! By the time I go to bed I have several favorites to pick up! Now if I could just teach her pick up her own toys! Keeping up with the coat just takes diligence. Comb her every day especially behind the ears, that seems to be where the knots form very quickly. Also, keeping her bathed will help, knots form faster on a greasy dog.
