Third time is the charm?
I have four pair set up...again. Just put boxes on two of the four. Will put the other two boxes up tonight, or hope to.
Seems...when you put birds in cages w/ boxes already available...sometimes they forget to breed and go right to laying eggs and brooding...infertile eggs. Oops. So this time I have waited 2 weeks to put boxes up. Time will tell if it helps!
I also am helping put together a show in August and will attend it and the show in October with my 'hopefuls'.
Since I am 'breeding for betterment' and talking about showing (and I DID show once, so should I say I will be 'back in the ring'?) does this make me a show-breeder and remove my BYBB status?
Am I a "bird whore" for hoping someday my birds might actually help pay for themselves through baby sales?
I'm so confused. Maybe I am pretending again.
