Here they are....4 1/2 weeks old. Which one do you like so far? I know which one I like but won't make a decision till they are evaluated.

being the non-conformist that I am, I like #2. Seems to have a better coat and head. Next week when you can get them stacked it would be easier to evaluate.

Yep, I'm hoping to get the breeder to do stacked pics next week. So far, I'm liking number 2 also. She is much bigger then the other girl. The dark red girl is built like her mom. The light red girl is built like her dad, which I prefer. This is her sire, Airly (CH. Borderfame Signature).

The dark girl is DARK...she will be a very intense red, maybe even with chocolate sabling. At least that is the experience with dogs from this line that are this dark that young. Her nose pigment will probably fade. The lighter girl will probably mature to the color of the dark girl now. They both have very black noses right now, the lighter girl just has a couple spots that need to fill in. Will be interesting to see them as they grow...

I agree Hemi. I prefer the sire's head, even though that pic isn't a good one of his head. He has a head more like my Jett. The things I like about the dam are her drive and her temperament. She is the sweetest dog in the world, not to mention she has passed all her health clearances with flying colors and is CEA normal (which I have to have since Jett is a carrier). Her herding instincts are incredible. She moves really nice too. She is built well although I would give her a bit more leg, a stronger topline, and a bit better head.

Her feet are adorable. Feet are a pet peeve of mine, dont laugh! I agree, her topline looked a little off but I chalked that up to her coat, it looks like she wasnt groomed well or had bedhead....lol

She was actually under a year in that pic I think. The breeder is real funny about taking coat out. I don't blame her because when they blow coat, THEY BLOW COAT! I like her feet too!
