Thank you everyone. I am just thrilled. This litter has so far exceeded all my hopes.
It will always be special to me since it produced my first AKC CHs.
Looks like there might be two Specials to come from it. Ruger's handler wants to campaign him once he finished growing up.

I am on pins and needles this morning. Rottweilers are in the ring at 8am Pacific time, 11am Eastern.
It is a Major today in Dogs AND Bitches.
There are 11 class dogs, and it takes 11 for a 3 point major. There are 16 Bitches, with 14 required for a 3 pointer, so that will likely hold in the girls.
If Ruger wins one more Major over the weekend, he will complete the requirements for his AKC CH title.
I am DYING with the waiting.
Will you cross your fingers with me?

Ahhhhhh, so close and yet so far.
WD today. Major broke in dogs. The judge did not cross him over to BOW, so he got 2 pts he doesn't need.
Good news is, he is 2 for 2, and hopefully tomorrow either the major holds in dogs, or he gets crossed over for the Best of Winners.
Many thanks to all of you who are rooting for Ruger. His owner is at the show, so I will get a call about this time tomorrow with an update.

Tomorrow Gracie and I will be attending a Conformation fun match for the first time.
I will be showing her, and also Milton as a tune up for him, since I will have him out for real in a couple weeks.
Updates on Ruger's success will be delayed, as I likely won't be back until on up into the afternoon.

Okay, we're back from Portland with mixed results. Ruger went Winners Dog three of the four days, but the major in dogs did not hold any of the days. With the wonderful exception of his 4 pt major BOB win on Thursday, he did not go on to win BOW and therefore did not earn the much needed second major. Ruger was 11 points going into Portland needing both majors, but alas, it was not meant to be. He now sits on 19 AKC points, still looking for that last major.
