You are right about one thing. This topic is about an important issue, not your poor breeding practices, nor my dislike for it. Although I do find it fitting YOU are a prime example of what this bill is trying to eliminate.
I agree with you here, I stated earlier that people will not be able to do what I did if this law passes. I have also been promoting the s/n issue with many people I know. I have helped several now to pay for this to be done with their pets.
When I said that about moving on, what I meant by that was only about the issue of my breeding Tinkerbell. I never meant to suggest that you needed to move on in any other area. I take my hat off to you with all you have accomplished with your animals.

It is you that don't make sense Mya.
I never preached spay/n. in fact I don't agree with pediatric S/N.
It will not help to place another law on top of laws they don't enforce now. And why waste money building a hugh new shelter there if this new law will make it so there are less animals for that shelter? Why spend thousands on statues? shouldn't that go to the animals instead for free S/N for those that can't afford it? So why such a low rate of licenced dogs in CA not even a quarter of them are licenced.
So how are more laws piled on top of laws that have not been enforced going to help?
The one fact alone that Norma likes this law for revenge should tell you everything.
Read USABreeders that may open your eyes to her motives here.
Pitter, even if this bill passes and it becomes mandatory for all animals to be s/n that are not exempt, there will still be a hugh need for the shelters for the many stray animals out there. There are so many people in this world that even with the law in place, that will not comply hence still being an over population on unwanted animals.
I think it is a good bill, however it obviously needs adjustments and will take time. But it is a start. I believe what will happen is that only the most serious of breeders and those that show their animals will in the long run be breeding. It will not stop all unwanted animals but it will in the long run bring the count down alot.
Like Hu clearly stated, what I did is a prime example of why this bill should be in place. I agree with the bill.
Congratulations Chibreeder!
