SPCA/Canada..who is supposed to be helping animals in distress! So why is it that so many people who purchase dogs/cats from them end up with deathly ill animals?

My daughter in law purchased two kittens one week ago, vet checked..by SPCA of course. Since that day, one kitten ended up in the vet's/her vet's office and the bill reached $900, still he could not save this kitten, it was Parvo. (Alberta)

The second kitten is still in the vet's fighting for it's life.

My neighbour purchased a dog from the local SPCA, this dog attacked and badly injured a visitor to their property, consequently the dog was put down. Do the SPCA not check the temperament of the animals they allow out for adoption??

We here(British Columbia) have had our entire SPCA closed down due to each animal in their care comimg down with Parvo. All animals were put down due to the virus.

I will not allow SPCA into my home regardless of their police act rights unless they are prepared to cover themselves from head to toe in Hazmat attire! They walk through their compounds, other peoples homes and in my opinion are carriers of every disease possible.

I sincerely hope someone who works for SPCA is on this forum and reads this...We are all sick and tired of your haphazard approach under the guise of animal protection!

It's time they ran under the same rigid rules we do to keep our animals healthy.

need to rant..thanks

Aww. What Is The Matter Josephine? Worried Your Supply Of Breeding Stock Is Going To Dry Up? Or Worse Yet, Worried That A Shelter, Which Has To Clean Up After Scumbag Breeders Like You, Might Cut Into Your Profit Margin?

ROFLMAO !@!

Constable Truthy: Oh, good, my message had an impact, an SPCA worker has replied! You haven't been to my home yet, but if and when you do, wear that Hazmat suit or you cannot enter.

All of you are a walking Parvo Virus!

Be sure not to get caught next time advertising the pups you are breeding for profit.

Still selling sick kitties? Well, urchins like you will sell your azz for a buck, so I guess the answer is yes.
