My dog has had on & off diarrhea probs all her life and I pretty much know how to deal...this morning, however, she woke up shaking all over and presents with what seems to be semi-paralysis or pronounced weakness in her hind quarters. This is her 2nd day of diarrhea. She continues to drink water and has eaten some rice (good!) There are no regular vets open on the weekend in my area - wonder if anyone knows if this is a huge threatening thing that needs an emergency (almost un-doable $) vet or might Monday be an ok wait?? Any thoughts out there - I'm kinda scared as this is new symptomology. Thanks
Semi-paralysis = Emergency vet clinic. Whether it be a minor stroke or something that has been building, i.e. advanced lyme disease, get her to the vet. Imagine waiting too long to do so and you'll have your answer.

I agree that a trip to the vet NOW is what you need to do. I would take her to an Emergency vet. Since you are clearly distressed enough to seek out the internet for help, you clearly believe this is a true emergency. Please take them in today and good luck!

Have you given a vaccination in the past three months? If so which one?
