Mr. Mod, loving the new forum, but not happy with the lumps on my head from bumping into the furniture here.

So this is about animal behavior hey. Ha perfect timing as my horse Holly today got into our way way back pasture. She had never been down there. The landlord left the gate open. LOL I went looking for her and found her all right. She was all prancing and showing off for this Giant Stud that lives on the other side of the fence.

Well they had just met each other for the first time and were only together for about 2 hours before we put a lead on her to bring her home. OMG you might of thought we were seperating a pair of simese twins the way they both carried on.

When I say a giant stud, I do me he was twice her size. But I think she is in love, but it could be just lust.

OMG, poor Holly. She found someone of her same nationality and you pulled her away. I bet her heart is totally broke today. I hope you plan on taking her there for visits and let her have sleep overs and such. lol

Oh the next morning she was still pacing the fence line. She was soaked from sweat and hadn't ate her meals right that whole day. She is back to calm and eating at meal times. It is if the moment has past and she forgot about him. Although we can still here romeo in the distance screaming sweet nothings across the pastures. LMAO Poor guy.

I went to my Horsemens Bible and found out that Febuary starts the heat cycles for mares, and lasts into the fall. Once every 14 to 21 days she will have PMS and it will last 2-3 days.

I have thought about contacting the owners and seeing if we can have a play date for them in between cycles. NO Surprize Babies!

It was awful tearing them apart. I was so worried about her as she was going to run herself to death. She wanted a booty call and Mommy put the Veto on it!
