Recently I've gotten a lot of static because I use a free email site - hotmail. Is there another kind? Hesaid just posted a site for one. How do they work? Hotmail comes with MSN, How would that work?

Ampugs You can use other free email sites but they are a little more basic, with hotmail their popularity has got them too many advertisers. aai find with all the crap in cyberspace when i log in the last thing i wanna see is comercials for dating and other crap. I dont trust their ethics one bit. There was a time when i lost my Logout button and I sent a message to them saying "i know what your up to" and it was mysteriously put back. A few years ago the FBI came up with a spy program called Carnivore. They try to attach it to most email sites so they can randomly spy on your email activity,Although ISP's dont have to use it yet,I think they make it in there best interest to (Go figure) This caused violent opposition and out came carnivore and some cookie free email sites that are free. ziplip.com safe-mail.net x-mail.net You can also encrypt those personal messages eg.security passwords. If you dont mind no banners and pop ups then check them out Also one of the best doors i've ever opened for knowledge and civil Protection ishttp://server1.buildfreedom.com/portal/recommend_site.php good luck with it.

I don't know - the ads don't really bother me - if I can ignore most of the crap on Breeder's Corner, I can ignore anything. Seriously [sp?], I don't know much about anything on the net - I've only had it for a little over three months so I'm way behind on knowing how to navigate - I usually count myself lucky to get back to a site when I try to.
It's just that with all that crap about the email I was sent - most seemed to feel that since I use a free site that I'm not real.
