I am looking to purchase a monitor and would like some suggestions. I like the look of the flat monitors. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Brands, features, etc? What brands to stay away from? What prices I would be looking at? I have an old Packard Bell, Windows 95. The computer works okay, but I need a new monitor.

I suggest doing a search through google or visit your local electronics/computer stores.

Dell has very nice LCD's, I would suggest watching their site for sales.
If your on a older WIN95 machine, I suggest saving money and upgrading everything qas a package.

I'm thinking of buying a whole new system, a Mcintosh. I don't want to make an impulse purchase so will think somemore and do more research. From what I have read Mcintosh computers are very user friendly. (Spelling?)

Best thing can ever do, if you have any questions about a mac system or which one to get, dont hesittate to ask.

I don't know about the person with the ip addy thing, but i do know they have programs available that you can use to read a person's ip address though I've never used one. It would be interesting if they can post a few addresses on here. I'd like to ask about a few other so called members of this board as well. It could start a whole new flamewar!! lol!

I didnt see the post where someone proved rose was julie or whatever, actually, I dont give a f@#% who is who. We all know Rose is a few cans short of a six pack. I simply came to this section to read and answer any type of computer questions/topics.

Then some asshole says he/she has proof via IP addresses, which we all know is not public on here. So to call their bluff, and prove that they know nothing, I simply asked them to post mine. Hence, the post above saying they dont have to prove anything which when we all think back to grade school, these are the same comments other kids threw at us when they were talking out their ass.
