Hey, I have been thinking about buying the microsoft office package because I realized I have been using it very often lately and its a good program. Well anyway, where can I find one at a decent price? I know they are expensive. I heard you could download them from places. Any suggestions would be nice

I'd check Kazaa! I've gotten some good (and expensive programs from there). Just make sure you have a good virus protection loaded.

Yep, Kazaa be the one. That or get a pal to copy it for you (from their discs) and don't try to register it.

I've gotten copies of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator....programs that cost like $800...unfortunately when I got a new computer, I lost them and haven't been able to find them again, but you can get some killer programs from there.....

I use Kazaa too and have had it for about 8 months now. I usually download several of the same program because more than half of them don't work right. I use norton, so it won't even download them if they have a virus in them. I get all kinds of goodies from them. I tried morpheous, but it's too busy all the time.
I have a thought, Susie. Maybe try the library or the college library--I'm not real library literate these days, but I know a couple of years ago, you could borrow the actual software from them....all you need do is copy it onto your own cd's or hard drive. My advice would be burn it onto your own cd's, so if your pc ever screws up, you can reload it.

If you dont want pirate version and you really want to buy it, I would go to http://www.price.com/ and see who has the best price.
