I don't know that much, but that sounds like how you do it. Maybe you have to delete your cookies and then go and do that process again. If there's a cookie on your pc, it might be causing it to reset back to the wrong page. I just use google for my homepage. Let me know if deleting the cookies, fixes it, okay.
Also, if you get Norton anti-virus 2004, it has a window that comes up and tells you everytime someone tries to put a cookie on your pc and you can either allow or block it. I just got this Norton and I love it so far.

You can check your registry for the name that is on that page that it resets to. If it's in there, you can remove it. That might do the trick. That's all I can think of.

You can use your right clik and do a search for that page and whatever you find about it, you can locate the file and delete it.

I hope this helps. I know it might take some serious searching to find it.
You can use "regedit" if you are experienced in the registry functions. I say that because you don't want to accidentally delete something in there unless you are 100% sure your pc can operate without it--tricky stuff, the registry.

If not, I'd suggest using the search ---go to the start menu and right clik and go to search and then type in the homepage(the one you don't want) and tell it to search your c drive. It should be able to find it that way. There might be several files that you have to delete and it may not completely delete the files, but it should stop them it from coming up as your homepage. It's some kind of cookie that gets into the registry, I believe.
