Some of my hubbys friends (i.e. perverts) have used to puter recently. They set my home page to some porn site, which then commences about 15 pop ups of porno. I reset the home page under Internet Options, press apply and ok (just to be sure). But every time you close I.E. and open it back up, it goes to the porn site again. Any suggestions?

You might have to change your security settings to restrict those sites. I think it's in your internet tools too under security. I hate those pop up things---I would like to get rid of all of them. I don't get the porn ones, but I get those dumb smiley face things all over the place and I can't even use them anyway. I would like to just block them. Anyone else have any ideas? Please don't suggest a pop-up blocker because they are too much of a pain and they block everything--I just want to block the smiley guys. If anyone can help me and dragonfly here, please do. Smile

It's a small world, after all.

Go to control panel and then add/Remove programs and look for a 3rd part software agent that may be installed.
Often pron sites have software that gets installed via web browser and people are unaware of the situation

thats my guess :-)
