No, but if you find out, could you pass along that information here for me and a few others that might be interested?
I'm going to look into some computer forums and see what I can find out.
I'll return the favor if I can.

I asked my daughter about this last week - she is always burning CD's. She said you need special, longer disks and that it takes a long time - otherwise it is the same as downloading music. I have no idea if that helps or not - I don't know how to download music or burn CD's.

Hi, you do have a dvd drive right ? A dvd drive will run dvd's and cd's but a cd drive will only run cd's. OK, I burn cd's all the time but I could not go through it step by step for you, Do you have windows xp or windows mill ? All you have to do is pull up the program for burning cd's/dvd's and follow the steps it is very easy. You can even buy a program to make your own cd/dvd stick on covers and personalize them. Give it a try it is'nt hard. You know I find with a lot of stuff on the computer, I have taken college classes on web design ect. the books or talking is really no help you just have to jump in and do it.

I am wanting to burn dvd's to cdr. I have tried several different suggestions and none of them ever work. I have been able to save the movie on my hard drive, but when you convert the files, it doesn't quite do it. It gets some of it, but not all of it.
Confused

No, I sure don't know anything about it, except that you need to use special disks - at least that is what I was told.

What you are going to need is dvd copy software, like dvdcopy plus. You can download it from imesh. It will tell you the other programs that is needed to burn dvds. It is not a simple thing like people think, and the software is somewhat difficult to understand, at least for me it is, and it does take a long time. Other software is Replicant2,DVD Direct Media v.7,DVD X Plus,DVD Squeeze. I hope one of these work for you, good luck.

Question for Mr. Busy

I only have a 2x burner and I have the Replicant 2 Software on mine and it does everything right except burn the dvd, so do you think that I need maybe a 4x or 8x burner to make it work? I have tried just about everything else.
Any help appreciated here.
