I am searching for a digital camera at a decent price $400 or less, preferablly less.

I am looking for a good quality camera.

The most important things for me is 10x's zoom OR MORE, preferably more and of course good quality pictures. Needs to have an lsd screen or whatever they are called. I dont care what size, it can be huge or it can be tiny.

I have a few cameras in mind, but want to check out a few more before I make my final decision

Please if u know of any cameras that you have been satisfied with in the past please list them here.

SuSie I would recommend a Nikoncoolpix 5700 it is a great camera with everything you said you are looking for I just sold mine because I upgraded to a D70 . For the moeny you are wanting to spend the 5700 is a great camera if you would like to see some photos I have taken with the 5700 pt me and i will send you some.

I saw some of your pictures on the photo grotto, they were nice, did you take them with your old camera that you are reccomending.

Susie try this link it is a site where i post alot of my photos and it will tell you which ones i took with the 5700. this is the best way to show you as these are all copyrighted photos and it makes it easier to show. when you get to my page click on gallery. you might have to join the site i am not sure if you do let me know ok.it should let you view my gallery though

You take really really great pictures. I hope to take pictures like that when I get my digital camera. I am money shy, I have it but don't want to spend it lol. I have decided on a camera, look at my other thread and let me know if you have heard good or bad things about this brand and model. Thanks
