I'm awake, it makes perfect sense, learn how to read!
Mr. Pitbull is saying the old computer was pen and paper, I never heard of anyone writing letters to people they never met before and fussing with them back and forth. But now that there is the real computer you can join a chat room and be cussing 10 people out at the same time that you have never met.

Amen to that. I still can not understand how a total stranger can say mean things to you on a pc, that has never met you in real life...it is a different story if you had dealing with that person.

RR, remember that at one time, you could post "anonymous" letters. The police got all kinds of wacko notes after Jack the Ripper was active. But now, you can trace the origin of a letter by the stamp code and fingerprints, etc.etc.

As for the Internet, it's a breeding ground for trolls and cowards, just like ponds breed scum and other slimy things.

It's anonymity allows those with nothing to contribute, to pretend that they know everything, and to attack others with profanity and stupid comments that mean something only in their little pea brains.

The funny part is, you don't need to meet these people face to face, to know they are lacking a lot of things like social skills, and some degree of intelligence. It shows in what they type. Which is what "ignore" features are for.

It's the only life some of these weirdos have, attacking others with inane remarks and insults, and when that fails, using obscenities to make a point that nobody understands but them.
