Hey all,
I need some help with this stupid printer before I throw it at the wall lol.

Heres my prb. It says when you go to print something Communication not available. I did the whole turn off the printer unplug everything plug it back in and restart my computer. It still isnt working though. btw yes i do have it turned on lol. It also says something about my USB cable isnt right. I tried all of the different cables and stuff but it still doesnt work. Any have any ideas? I called my "tech" guy and he doesnt have any clue what is wrong with it. but hes bad with printers shhhh.... dont tell him I said that lol

Check to make sure the printer you are using is set as your default printer.

My thought is that you might have a defective usb port. Try changing ports. If your printer and computer are not communicating, it's generally the usb port that has the problem.

Yes Chips its my defualt printer. At first that is what I thought it was.

Mr Pit, thanks Iam thinking its that the more I think about it. Now the question is do I want to head out to the store with all these Christmas Shopper? Hmm... printer that works or stay home and dont lose my mind. Thats a hard one lol

If you have a usb port that isn't being used or that something can be unplugged from, try using that one and see if you can get the printer to work. (just a thought)
