It depends on the virus, Susie. Some of them you can get from just clicking onto a website.
I would advise putting in some kind of protection such as McAfee or Norton Anti-Virus. Both of them work really good at preventing the viruses.

I use McAfee for both virus protection and a firewall - seems to work pretty well - at least so far.
