Billy Graham, I can remember sitting with my mother and watching his prime time specials when I was a child. He had a special on prime time television last night.
I do not agree with some of his interpretations of Scripture, but I think he is a fine Christian man.
Likewise the Pope John Paul. The world will be a little less brighter when we lose those two.

I'm obsessed with life in general. Be well, Rose.
That's an extreme. Don't be too obsessed with life and material things. The only thing you take with you when you leave this frail existence is your knowledge.

Wrong--the only thing you take with you when you leave this existence is your SOUL, Rose and nothing else...no body, no knowledge.

I'd hate to think of running around up there without any knowledge ( brains) wouldn't you?

Well, we don't need to be smart up there. We will be all knowing once we arrive in Heaven. that is my understanding of it.
Besides, we get to be brainless all we want down here...hahaha!!! Isn't that the purpose of a talk forum? hehehe
I love Billy Graham he is well spoken! my husband thinks he is just in it for the cash either way I know soon Billy Graham wont be with us much longer so I am hoping his son will be as good as his father.
Billy Graham is wonderful. His son is too, our church is involved in Samaritan's Purse, and the kids had such fun sending shoeboxes filled with gifts to Africa.

That is a sad thing to say, that Billy Graham is in it for the money. Look at all the wonderful things he has done with the contributions he has received. And the hearts he has touched. I do not agree with all of his interpretations of the Bible, but I think he is a fine man. Did anyone answer what religion he is? I would like to know.
Rose I can not help what others feel. I was raise on Billy Graham so I was not the one that said this. but my husband has a point about these TV peachers... only in it for the cash look at jim baker! I do not believe that Billy Graham is doing this for the money and if so! oh well he will be judge at the end.
Very good point. Charity starts at home. We do alot for our community here, but I love the shoebox presents at Christmas time. My kids have so much fun packing them up.
