Hey AmPugs, your not aryan, your caucasian I think you mean. Aryan was the Hitler created race of whites, lol, which isnt the same thing from my understanding.

I grew up catholic. I disagreed with so much of their beliefs, I quit. Keep in mind, when I grew up you had to eat fish on Friday, no meat, you had to wear something on your head before entering a church if you were female, the service was all in Latin and if you didn't go to a parachoal school you had Saturday Religion classes. Do I believe in 'a' God, yes, I believe in a Supreme Being. Do I think there is a Satan or Hell - no I don't. I believe in life after death and I know I have lived several lives. I am probably closer to a Pagan or Wiccan religion. But I think being 'cursed' and doing 'spells' is just plain dumb. I do believe in miracles. And I honestly don't know what to think about the bible. Most people think I am just a little weird. lol

I don't think this should get into a bashing thread of other religions. That is what is going to happen if everyone tells what church or religion they are offiliated with.
I believe all religions, all churches that worship God and Jesus Christ are good and all of them have truths. All of these churches and denominations are stepping stones to God. We can all learn from one another.
I don't attend church, Wish. I have no desire to attend church, nor will I ever pretend to attend church when I do not. Unlike some people do. Being a hypocrite, now is that really a sin or not? 24 million $ question. I have often wondered what exactly defines sin. Oh, guess I should make a new topic for my ponderances?

Our church worships God and believes in Jesus Christ. Are you now accepting me and my beliefs?

Do you attend church Wish? I don't think a person has to attend church per say, to be a Christian. But then, there are all types of Christians and that could become a very long conversation.

Do you believe the Bible to be the word of God? Previously you stated in other posts that you are a woman and you are attracted to the same sex. That is contrary to God as you may read in Romans Chapter One. If we believe in God and Jesus Christ, then we should follow the commandments.
There is no gray area in regards to being a homosexual. Romans Chapter One is beautifully and simple stated so that even the unlearned can understand. Apparently God did not want us to have any confusion in that area. He created Adam and Eve as many have said, not Adam and Adam, or Eve and Eve.
It is unnatural to desire to be with one of the same sex, as well as a sin. It can be overcome, as all sin can. But a person must believe in God and believe the Bible to be the word of God.
Is lust not a sin as well? Isn't all sin equal according to the words of the Bible? Are you going to say that you have never lusted after anyone? Have you never contemplated what the attraction is of the same sex? Have you never imagined how it might feel to be with a woman? If you are a human being, these thoughts have crossed your mind. Don't say they haven't. I know better. I also might add, that I am a black woman. Have you ever wondered how it really feels to be black in a white-opinionated world? I won't go there, but you can think on it some. So if I'm so bad, then you are just as bad because you have lust in your soul. I have read your posts and I am curious as to how I am so different. You lust after money, don't you? Is this a fair comparison? If it is not, then please use one of your own. I fail to see why you think you are the one to judge me. You are not God. You don't even know anything about my church except what I stated that I believe in God and Jesus Christ, yet you pass judgement on me once again. Why is that? Does it make you feel closer to God in your own way? Everything that is written in the Bible is not necessarily true. It hasn't been translated 100% accurately and has been translated many times. Anytime anything is taken out of context from the Bible or any book, then it changes the meaning slightly, doesn't it? Times have changed and people have changed and our lives have changed and sometimes all that is written is not law. Do laws not change? Do people not change laws? I am the way I am. I did not decide to become gay. I was always like this. I didn't switch brands. I am a lesbian and I do believe I am a Christian. That is my belief and I attend church regularly and I try to be a good person. If that hurts someone, I fail to see it. Please show me how I deserve to be condemned to Hell for basically being a good person?
All people are a little part of God. I am part of God. So are you. Believe it or don't.

Tulisha, I haven't seen you here before. Guess I missed it. Welcome to the forum. I'm tempted to ask you a couple of questions, but I am being on good behavior today. Maybe after you and Rose are done talking here. I don't want to interrupt the flow. It's getting interesting.

Whitefish: How can you say you think you know my mind or my heart? Do not make such a statement. The answer is No, I do not ponder such things. We all have the power to choose good or to choose evil. To be attracted to the same sex is wrong, it is unnatural and goes against God. It is a sin. Sin can be overcome.
Tulisha: I also might add, that I am a black woman. Have you ever wondered how it really feels to be black in a white-opinionated world? I won't go there, but you can think on it some. Whitefish: No I do not lust after money. There to more to life than wealth and riches. Like knowledge. The only thing you take with you when you leave this life is knowledge. We are wise if we study the Scriptures and learn of God while we are on this earth. Not only learn of God, but choose to worship and OBEY Him.
Tulisha: I fail to see why you think you are the one to judge me. You are not God. You don't even know anything about my church except what I stated that I believe in God and Jesus Christ, yet you pass judgement on me once again. Why is that?
Whitefish: You have stated that you are attracted to the same sex. Is judging you telling you that you are going against the law of God? I can't and won't judge you, only Jesus Christ can do that.
Tulisha: Does it make you feel closer to God in your own way? Everything that is written in the Bible is not necessarily true. It hasn't been translated 100% accurately and has been translated many times. Anytime anything is taken out of context from the Bible or any book, then it changes the meaning slightly, doesn't it?
Whitefish: Tulisha, again in Romans Chapter One God is very clear about homosexuality. There is not way to misinterpret that passage of scriptures.
Tulisha: Times have changed and people have changed and our lives have changed and sometimes all that is written is not law. Do laws not change? Do people not change laws?
Whitefish: Man may try to change God's law, but God is the same yesterday today and forever. He does not bend, he does not sway with the wind. His laws, his commandments do not change to suit us. That is not why we are here on this earth. We are here to see if we will be obedient to God. This life is a test. The most important test we will ever take. Because it has to do with our salvation. Our eternal life. What is 70-80 years of earth life, compared to eternity with God? I am striving to live for eternity.
Tulisha: I am the way I am. I did not decide to become gay. I was always like this. I didn't switch brands. I am a lesbian and I do believe I am a Christian. That is my belief and I attend church regularly and I try to be a good person. If that hurts someone, I fail to see it. Whitefish: I believe you when you say you are a Christian. And that you try to be a good person. However a Christian is someone who believes in Christ, AND follows his teacings. The Lord said NO to homosexuality. He also said If ye love Me keep my commandments. You are hurting yourself by disobeying God. That in turn hurts God because He loves you Tulisha, as much as He loves me and everyone else in this world. He wants us to be happy, and we can only find true happiness if we follow the commandments.
Tulisha: All people are a little part of God. I am part of God. So are you. Believe it or don't.
Whitefish Yes all of us are children of God. I know this to be true. We are created in His image. You and I are beloved daughters of God, I sincerely believe that.

I'm sorry, but which commandment says "thou shalt not be homosexual?" Guess I'm missing that one somewhere.
The Bible is full of commandments Tulisha. Not just the Ten Commandments that Moses came down from the mountain with. We have the Old and the New Testament. You may try to rationalize being homosexual all you want to, but you can't deny it is a SIN after you read Romans Chapter 1.
