That is my belief. The in the out the up the down, the everything, and spaces in between everything, nothing which God is not. My favorite book is Neale Walsch's Conversations with God,, here is an experpt Id like to share about God explaining "what" God is,,,,,,
I am God.
I am the Goddess.
I am the Supreme Being. The All of Everything. The Beginning and The End. The Alpha and Omega.
I am the Sum and the Substance. The Question and the Answer. The Up and the Down of it. The Left and the Right, the Here and the Now, the Before and the After.
I am the Light, and I am the Darkness that creates the Light, and makes it possible. I am the Goodness Without End, and the "Badness" which makes the "Goodness" good. I am all of these things--the All of Everything--and I cannot experience any part of My Self without experiencing All of My Self.
And this is what you do not understand about Me. You want to make Me the one, and not the other. The high and not the low. The good, and not the bad. Yet in denying half of Me, you deny half of your Self. And in so doing, you can never be Who You Really Are.
I am the Magnificent Everything--and what I am seeking is to know Myself experientially. I am doing this through you, and through everything else that exists. And I am experiencing My Self as magnificent through the choices I make. For each choice is self creative. Each choice is definitive. Each choice represents Me--that is, re-presents Me--as Who I Choose to Be Right Now.
Yet I cannot choose to be magnificent unless there is something to choose from. Some part of Me must be less than magnificent for Me to choose the part of Me which is magnificent.
So, too, is it with you.
I am God, in the act of creating My Self.
And so, too, are you.
This is what your soul longs to do. This is that for which your spirit hungers.
Were I to stop you from having what you choose, I would stop My Self from having what I choose. For My greatest desire is to experience My Self as what I Am. And, as I carefully and painstakingly explained in Book 1, I can only do that in the space of what I Am Not.
And so, I have carefully created What I Am Not, in order that I might experience what I Am. Yet I Am everything I create--therefore I Am, in a sense, What I Am Not.
How can someone be what they are not?
Easy. You do it all the time. Just watch your behaviors.
Seek to understand this. There is nothing that I am not. Therefore, I Am what I Am, and I Am what I Am Not.

I invite you to a new form of communication with God. A two-way communication. In truth, it is you who have invited Me. For I have come to you, in this form, right now, to answer to your call.
It is not God's function to create or uncreate the circumstances and conditions of your life. God created You, in the image and likeness of God. You have created the rest.
Your ideas about Right and Wrong are just that-ideas. They are the thoughts which form the shape and create the substance of Who You Are. There would be only one reason to change any of these; only one purpose in making an alteration; if you are not happy with who you are.
Treating others with love does not necessarily mean allowing others to do as they wish.
If your values serve you, hold to them. Argue for them. Fight to defend them. Yet seek to fight in a way that harms no one. Harm is not a necessary ingredient in healing.
You can know yourself to be generous, but unless you do something which displays generosity, you have nothing but a concept. You can know yourself to be kind, but unless you do someone a kindness, you have nothing but an idea about yourself.
You cannot experience yourself as what you are until you've encountered what you are not. This is the purpose of the theory of relativity, and all physical life. It is by that which you are not that you yourself are defined.

I understand this is what you believe Whitefish, but to my beliefs this is limiting what God, the omnipitant being, is capable of. Do you believe there is somthing which God can NOT do? You said twice in one paragraph "god cant, christ cant be or do,

And yet I know , as I was once catholic and after that protistant, there is nothing which God is incapable of in those religions as well. For me the scariest thing about opening my mind and heart to believing god was capable of all, was in letting go of the "fear" of that very God I wished to love. But once my eyes were opened to how much I was limiting what God "was", I could no longer close them again, by my own will or somonelses. Dont let people tell you your wrong though, I will not tell you your wrong because I know what you believe works for you in your life and brings you peace and joy which is the goal of knowing God on a personal level.

Boy this is an issue that I never would had thought would had been brought up.Buffy how do I begin lol. I believe in GOD and no I do not believe I am a (god).because, had I been a God there are people that has pass in my life that would had never what I mean by this is I met some very nasty people that cause pain & had I been a God as you so put it,I would had never met them! I know there are reasons for everything that goes on. lessons To be learned but if you are a God then there should be nothing to be leared. a God is powerful and wise!
As soon as I read your post Harpie, I caught myself thinking, she can not understand this, I was judging you and denying my own beliefs in doing so.

Choosing to be God-like does not mean that you choose to be a martyr. And it certainly does not mean you choose to be a victim.
You can choose to be a person who has resulted simply from what has happened, or from what you've chosen to be and do about what has happened.
So what is your intention now? Do you intend to prove your theory that life seldom brings you what you choose?
The answer is the answer you cannot hear-for it leaves you without guidelines and renders null and void every agreement in the moment you make it. The answer is: You have no obligation. Neither in relationship, not in all of life.
Suffering has nothing to do with events, but with one's reaction to them. What's happening is merely what's happening. How you feel about it is another matter.
All the "bad" things that happen are of your choosing. The mistake is not in chooosing them, but in calling them bad.
How can you be a creative being if I am dictating what you shall be, do and have? My joy is in your freedom, not your compliance.
Belief in God produces belief in God's greatest gift - unconditional love - and God's greatest promise -unlimited potential.

Buffy what I was saying I will never be GOD.yes God allows you to do your own will but that does not mean he agrees with it. if you want to believe you are a God then do so. but I believe I am one of many Gods children. I do not blame God for what is in my present or pass. I blame myself for being weak on certain parts of my life that has cause crap to happen ( which I have learned from my mistakes).I will not force my belifs on anyone as they should not force theirs on me... all I know is the God I believe in is a Jealous but Loving God .I will always be faithful to him so there is no conflicts in the near future
I respect your understanding of the nature of God as you know Him to be Harpie.Many people choose to believe that God communicates in special ways and only with special people. This removes the mass of people from responsibility for hearing Gods message . . . and allows them to take someone else's word for everything. Look to your experience to find your truth. There is no limit to what you can become.

I will not get in to arguement over this subject because it is pointless no one will win.there is a saying bad things happen to bad people. I find that hard to swallow. Reason I say this there where six million jewish people that was killed by hitler men,women and children. I don't believe all those people where bad! here is another sample there is a child that was born, a king feared his throne would be taken away by the child so he ordered all neww born boys up to 2 years old to be slain. these children where not old enough to do bad things so why did bad things happen to them?!?!?!?!

Bad is what you call it, it is a label to seperate one thing from anouther.There can even be a mass agreement on what is good and bad, such as the example of WW2 you mentioned. But hitler thought he was "good" and "right", even if 99.9 percent of the world would argue against his sick mind. But on a lesser scale , you could for example call the color orange a "bad" or "ugly" color, but orange may be anouther persons favorite color. So what is "bad" to one person does not always make it so for all the world. Two or twenty or twenty thousand may call somthing "bad" and be in agreement on the matter, but if there are 30 thousand who believe that same thing is good,,, who is "right"? Does might make right, meaning the majority must rule? I dont believe so no, becuase if so some of the things I love would possibly be called "bad".
