It's been rather disturbing, all the news and the hoopla on same sex marriages. Just makes me sick to my stomach. How low can we go? I have asked myself that several times over the past several years. From the looks of things we have hit rock bottom.

It was enough to make me ill, watching the CNN Headline news and seeing all of those couples lined up to get married. And officiators saying such sickening words as
" Its my moral responsibility to perform these marriages." The worst part was seeing children standing in those lines with their same sex parents.

Then watching Rosie ODonnell come down the steps of the court house hand in hand with her partner and telling President Bush "This is our gift to you." Even sicker was her statement " With four kids, there will be no honeymoon." ( How I would love to show up on her door step with papers informing her I was taking her children into "protective custody." )

What must our loving Father In Heaven and our Savior feel, when they look down upon us?

I haven't seen the news lately. They didn't legalize it, did they?

Yes we were put onto this Earth to be married as man & women,but things have change over the centuries.The way I look at it if man & women are allowed to get married then the same sex should get married if they wish & there should be no stopping of that,& for them to be adopting children they can be as good as parents as a regular family can be. Does the child get confused yes when they are young but the older they get the more they understand,just like biracial families.Thats the way I think,they are not hurting anyone doing this.

Rose, talk with your own minister..that is why you go to your church and listen to his sermons and ask questions of him and whoever teaches your Bible studies. Religion-on-line is NOT one of my husband's interests..So, if you want answers to YOUR questions or someone to AGREE with YOU, please go to the minister who teaches the doctrines you accept...I really don't think you are interested in the answers to questions you might pose to him but simply want another person with whom to debate. What would you do if he didn't agree with some/any of your viewpoints on the matters under discussion in this topic? I am NOTsaying he would disagree but just posing the question. I have seen your responses on MANY, MANY occasions when a poster does not agree with you. Two people of the same sex being together is one of man's plans, not God's.

Does anyone recall the story of Sodom and Gomorrah ? Genesis 19:24-25. That pretty much sums it up.

In the Bible, throughout the New Testament, sexual immorality is uniformly condemned. Jesus condemned lust in the heart (Matthew 5:28), adultery and fornication (Matthew 5:32-33). Paul said the sexually immoral, including fornicators, adulterers and homosexuals, will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I have to agree with the Bible on this one.

It bees that way sometimes. Some are shocked at things Rose argues about and "as for me and my house" we choose not to get into the foray...Rose has a minister who teaches the doctrines she believes, in her church. I suggest she work with him to sort out her biblical questions FACE-TO-FACE!!

Or maybe your minister would get on line and be a resource for her to carry on such a discussion. She has proven in many threads that her interest is in arguing and not learning. So, she will have to find another minister to take these subjects up with.
