Denise, what's the matter with you? I don't recall ever discussing my religion with this forum. You will never see me get into a debate on my religion, so think again.
Secondly I'm beginning to think YOU have some real issues with the LDS religion. Are you a former Mormon? This is my understanding. You are no longer a member now and so being disgruntled you feel it your duty to attack and lash out anyone who even remotely resembles a Mormon?
Like I said.......many times......Anyone who will attack ANY religion, whether it be Mormon, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Jehovah's Witnesses, or any of the organized, and un organized religions, has serious issues. ALL religions have good and truth in them. ALL religions, Christian, and even some that aren't, are stepping stones to God.
Denise you profess to be a Christian, but look at the hate in your posts. Is this what you teach your children, to hate? By the way, when I am talking to YOU Denise, I am talking to Lhasa Lady, because you two are the same person, different usernames is all.
Your not offending ME by all this nonsense you are posting. Again, I will defend the Mormons as quickly as I will defend the Catholics or any other religion who puts God at the center of their religion. It's a fact. So carry on girl. It's the Lord you are offending. Think about that. You certainly have no tolerance or respect for anyone who does not worship according to your dictates.
And furthermore, the Mormons do not practice Polygamy anymore. Haven't you heard? But of course you have because you are an X- Mormon. When they did practice polygamy, there were only about 3 % of the men who had plural wives. You had to be able to afford a second wife and family before you could have one. Leaving no time at all for "fun and games."
Get online and post some real links that give the facts. Fact is there are several branches of the LDS church that broke away when Polygamy was banned. They got x-communicated for continuing to practice plural marriage. They are still thriving all over the United States and they still call themselves Mormons, only they aren't.
Another fact: There is the original Mormon Church and The Reorganized Mormon Church, two entirely different organizations. But you already know that because you are a former Mormon who just seems to have a bone to pick. 
See........I do know a bit about the Mormons, now don't I? I clicked on the link to the Church Headquarters and there is enough info there to keep a person occupied for hours! In fact I think I'll head that direction for a few minutes.........I have a question I would like answered over there.

Sorry to disappoint you, Rose, but I was raised a Catholic, and being disappointed and in disagreement with that, now attend a non-denominational Christian church. The only thing I want to say is Rose, Denise is NOT LL. She called me when my son was hurt by his teacher and on my caller ID it said Denise last name which I won't post and her number. The area code is in a totally different state than LL. So Rose you are not right saying she's LL.
Denise thanks again for calling that day. I was more upset than I've ever been and you calmed me down. Only another mom can understand the devastation you feel when someone hurts your baby. You're awesome Hun!

Mormons are just as much of a 'cult' as any other religion...you believe that someone is divine just because someone else said so...lay off the mormons, because to me it's all the same crock of ****...
you're religion can't even translate things right, try finding out what the true meaning of virgin is...and try finding out who REALLY wrote the bible...

when i said learn who wrote the bible, i meant back to about 200 ad, not the kjv...the kjv isn't the only bible...jesus wasn't even his real name for starters...
and yes, your cross is a symbol...any symbol can be percieved as occult, ESPECIALLY if it's representing a supernatural or supernormal being, in this case, jesus of nazareth...and since when is occult a bad thing? only to the ignorant...

I'm going to have to agree with Denise on this one. I've known several mormons families even been to their church and I have to say they are quite strange in their beliefs even scary. It does resemble a cult. If one does not tote the mark you are excommunicated by the very people who were once your family. Not a very forgiving religion considering people are in now way perfect.
The Christian religion is based on God's word and God's word only and I'm not going catholic there. The bible was written by God's inspiration. It's letters written and compiled together by timeline. 2/3rd's of it was letters wrote to churches by a man who one prosecuted Christians. Jesus showed Paul the light and from then on devoted his life to Him. Paul even died for what he believed as did the disciples. You have to remember that these once followers of Christ ran like cowards when the Pharisees too Jesus. After His rising they were preaching in the streets and died for believing in Him. Why in the world would so many die horrible deaths for something that was not true? The bible is a true as it gets. Why would so many letters written by many different people from different places all tie together? Because they are authentic and true. The bible is the most popular and most sold book of all times. Why would that be if it was bunk. There is never going to be a solid amount of proof to make all believe there was always be something to counter it. If it was easy to prove to all there would be no need for Faith.

I'm going to have to step in and say you are way off base here. The Mormons do not have a book that "counters" the Bible. They have a book called "The Book Of Mormon" that compliments the Bible. It is "Another Testament of Jesus Christ."
There is also nothing strange or bizarre about their church services either. Visitors are welcome and made to feel at home. They are good Christian people and their life is centered around Jesus Christ.
There are hundreds of links by X Mormons that contain nothing but lies and myths. If you want to know the truth go to the Mormon church website. If you want to know even more, call or e-mail the representatives of the Mormon
(LDS)church.
You need to click on the Mormon church link and read up. Here is the link. I have been on their several times. It is very informative. There is also a video/audio archive of talks given by the authorites in the church.

ALL religions have good and truth in them. ALL religions, Christian, and even some that aren't, are stepping stones to God. Denise you profess to be a Christian, but look at the hate in your posts. And furthermore, the Mormons do not practice Polygamy anymore. Haven't you heard? But of course you have because you are an X- Mormon. When they did practice polygamy, there were only about 3 % of the men who had plural wives. You had to be able to afford a second wife and family before you could have one. Leaving no time at all for "fun and games." Get online and post some real links that give the facts. Fact is there are several branches of the LDS church that broke away when Polygamy was banned. They got x-communicated for continuing to practice plural marriage. They are still thriving all over the United States and they still call themselves Mormons, only they aren't. Another fact: There is the original Mormon Church and The Reorganized Mormon Church, two entirely different organizations. But you already know that because you are a former Mormon who just seems to have a bone to pick. See........I do know a bit about the Mormons, now don't I? The only thing I want to say is Rose, Denise is NOT LL. She called me when my son was hurt by his teacher and on my caller ID it said Denise last name which I won't post and her number. The area code is in a totally different state than LL. So Rose you are not right saying she's LL.

Mormons are just as much of a 'cult' as any other religion...you believe that someone is divine just because someone else said so...lay off the mormons, because to me it's all the same crock of ****... you're religion can't even translate things right, try finding out what the true meaning of virgin is...and try finding out who REALLY wrote the bible... stop w/ the occult symbol degredation...do you even know what the definition of occult is? according to webster: "matters regarded as involving the action or influence of supernatural or supernormal powers or some secret knowledge of them"...by very definition, you're crucifix is an 'occult' symbol... I'm going to have to agree with Denise on this one. I've known several mormons families even been to their church and I have to say they are quite strange in their beliefs even scary. It does resemble a cult. If one does not tote the mark you are excommunicated by the very people who were once your family. Not a very forgiving religion considering people are in now way perfect.
The Christian religion is based on God's word and God's word only and I'm not going catholic there. The bible was written by God's inspiration. It's letters written and compiled together by timeline. 2/3rd's of it was letters wrote to churches by a man who one prosecuted Christians. Jesus showed Paul the light and from then on devoted his life to Him. Paul even died for what he believed as did the disciples. You have to remember that these once followers of Christ ran like cowards when the Pharisees too Jesus. After His rising they were preaching in the streets and died for believing in Him. Why in the world would so many die horrible deaths for something that was not true? The bible is a true as it gets. Why would so many letters written by many different people from different places all tie together? Because they are authentic and true. The bible is the most popular and most sold book of all times. Why would that be if it was bunk. There is never going to be a solid amount of proof to make all believe there was always be something to counter it. I'm going to have to step in and say you are way off base here. The Mormons do not have a book that "counters" the Bible. They have a book called "The Book Of Mormon" that compliments the Bible. It is "Another Testament of Jesus Christ." There is also nothing strange or bizarre about their church services either. Visitors are welcome and made to feel at home. They are good Christian people and their life is centered around Jesus Christ. There are hundreds of links by X Mormons that contain nothing but lies and myths. If you want to know the truth go to the Mormon church website. If you want to know even more, call or e-mail the representatives of the Mormon (LDS)church. You need to click on the Mormon church link and read up. Here is the link. I have been on their several times. It is very informative.
