Any ideas as to how God came to be God? Have some of us ever pondered the very idea?

Ineteresting topic Rose, I actually have never thought about it. But am interested in what others may or may not have thought.

I think God always was, like Infinity.

God is God he was here before time if you read the bible it states "Iam who I am"

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.THE EATH WAS WITHOUT FORM AND VOID AND DARKNESS WAS ON THE FACE OF THE DEEP.AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD WAS HOVERING OVER THE FACE OF THE WATERS.

"Iam who I am "in the last book of the king james Bible God does say this as well
" I am Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end." I myself would never question God but that is me. there is only once I ask god why and I am still waiting for his reply ...

God was talking to MOSES when he said " I am that I am."

(I imagine Moses took one look at that burning bush and said "Who or What are you?")

I admire Moses for holding his ground - I probably would have fainted dead away.....

I like the part where God tells Moses to take off his shoes, because he is standing on Holy ground.

"The beginning and the end" as far as we { his earthly children) are concerned. That is all God intends for us to know, regarding how God came into existance.

But there will be a logical reason as far as how God came to be God someday when we leave this mortal existance. We just don't need to know that here. Our earthly life is but a small step in our progression. Next step: the spirit world..........

There is nothing wrong with questioning who God is, who man is, why we are here, etc. Or pondering the very subject and studying it out in your mind. God wants us to read the scriptures and seek out answers.

It amazes the heck out of me that you made this post then when people state what they state you go on as if you never started the topic. No I as an adult I never ponder where God came from .I am not stating you are wrong but if you knew where he came from. would you think your life would be different? Rose Go watch the movie the passion of christ that will move you .

Yes it most definitely would! For one thing, I personally KNOW I wouldn't want to be here a second longer. If I could gaze into the heavens and see God and the whole pictures, I would say "Get me out of here now!"

Earth is just one step on the ladder, the spirit world is another, what comes after that, we will just have to wait and see.
