I am saddened by the death of Johnny Cash, who passed away on Friday. He will be greatly missed by many. Anyone who wants to, please join me in a moment of silent prayer.

I'll miss Johnny Cash too. I admit I didn't care for his last song, but I do like a lot of his songs from the past.

Howdy Tex. Haven't seen you around in awhile.

And I wouldn't mourn Johnny Cash's passing. He lived a long, productive life, and made a lot of people happy. Can't ask for more than that in this world.

I mourn Johnny Cash just because he is gone and is no longer with us. I wish people didn't have to grow old or die. I wasn't that fond of his music, maybe some of the old stuff. He did make an album entitled America. That was a classic. I do think he had a good life, after he got his act together, but then at some point we all have to do that. lol

I want to add that I'll miss John Ritter too. I didn't know he had died until just now.

The Legacy

When I was graduating from grammar school, back in the 50's,
I went about asking everyone to write something in my autograph
book. It looked like a mini photo album.

It had a burgundy leatherette cover with the word "Autographs"
engraved in gold. The inside had pastel pages. I gave it to my
mother. Here is what she wrote.

Dear Cindy,

"It can be done."

Love,
Mother

And on the very bottom of the page was:

I remember wondering, what kind of an autograph was that?

No congratulations, nothing.

I still have that little piece of paper.

I cherish it.

Little did I realize it but my mother had left me a legacy.

I have four grown children and to this day, they will say,

"I know Mom, it can be done."

Mom met the Lord some time ago, but her legacy lives on.

Why do you keep changing your avatar picture all the time? Is there a reason or are you just bored?
Maybe you could find one online that you can keep permanently? If you do find any good pictures online, please let the rest of us know. I don't like any of the avatars that are in the file on here. I want something different, so I will be interested if anyone finds any different ones. Nice ones, of course!

She changes it because when people see that avitar of hers, they normally run. You can get personal avitars too. DC, DJ, Bons and I all have custom made avitars.

Why are you trying to get rid of Jenny too? Just because she's not christian. She might believe some of the same stuff as you. That's another thing I hate in people, dispising everyone that isn't exactly like them.

Well I'll tell you what "Hmmmm" person with no name, anybody can post anywhere on this dang board that they want to!! Nobody owns any particular thread even if they are the one who started it!! This is a free for all forum and at times a playground for the likes of you.
I have disagreed with some of Kerack's posts and I have stated it, but I will defend her here---you have no business running off or trying to run off anyone and you have spoken worse on this thread than Kerack. As for Jenny, she hasn't posted an unkind word that I have read anywhere. Go log your unhappy self in and come back and talk right and you might just have a better night!!

You know where I come from, a person can have their say without anyone saying much back. We either like them or don't with no inbetween. I don't tell the neighbor not to park in my driveway and he don't tell me not to park in his. Now, I will say something to him if his car leaks oil all over and he would do the same for me. Why can't we just have that similarity here? It's not a lot to ask. Don't step on my toes and I won't step on yours. I don't like what you say, I keep quiet, same goes for you. It's okay to talk about the weather once in a while, but I don't want to talk about it every 5 minutes. Does anyone get what I'm saying here?

Hello Friends,
I've got a few minutes so thought I would drop by my favorite place. I don't know about everyone elses weather, but ours has changed and suddenly! BRRRRR it is really cold outside. I think it may freeze tonight. If I had any tomato's I'd sure be covering them up! It's time to put the kiddie pools away for the winter and my little furbabies are not going to like that at all.

Speaking of furbabies, I will be getting a little red toy poodle pup next Saturday! He is four months old and I just happened to luck out and find out about him. He will make a good little stud.

One of the nice families that adopted one of our Brittanys is coming back for their second Brittany puppy and they are also bringing me this little poodle! We are so happy to be adding him to our little family.

Last night we brought home a new female Brittany pup to join a little male that we have held back from a recent litter. So lots of new blood coming into the family. It's very exciting.

I will try to take some pictures soon and post them. Today has been a very good day. Last night I turned some worries over to the Lord. ( As you know he stays up all night!) Things were going awry and I said my prayers and tossed and turned forever it seemed. There was a big wind storm and I just lay there and listened to the wind. At last I drifted off to sleep after I made sure I told Heavenly Father I wasn't mad at HIM because I'd had a bad day.

This morning very good news came in the mail, and also via e-mail. I have been very busy communicating back and forth with family and friends about the turn of events in my life. All of this happened overnight too! Just goes to show that the Lord really does know what we are in need of before we even petition him in prayer. I've heard that so many times, and it is true! So when the cards seem stacked against you, turn your troubles over to your Heavenly Father, he will always be there for you. I know because he has proven himself to me over and over again. Have a good night everyone and a wonderful tomorrow!
