Crockpot Beef and Peppers

1 large bell pepper -- sliced thin
1 onion -- chopped
3/4 cup beef broth
1 1/2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

Cut the steak into serving size pieces. Brown the meat in a
little hot oil before adding to crockpot. Place the thinly

I havent tried this just looked it up on the web. Most recipes I found do call for evaporated milk. But here is one without it:

Barbara's Macaroni And Cheese In Crock Pot
1 lg. box macaroni, cooked and drained
2 tbsp. oil
2 sticks margarine
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. milk
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
3 c. Cheddar cheese, grated (12 oz.)
1 can Cheddar cheese soup

Oil crockpot, mix all ingredients, using only 1/2 of grated cheese. Put mixture in crockpot and put remaining cheese on top. Let simmer in crockpot for 4 or more hours

My granny gave me her Pot Roast recipe.... It's sooooo good.

Granny's Pot Roast:

You'll need:
Medium Size cut Pork Shoulder or Chuck Roast.
Four large Carrots (cut in Chunks)
Five medium Red/New Potato’s (Cut in Fourths)
Four Celery Sticks (Chunked)
One small sweet onion (cut in fourths)
Five small Mushrooms (Sliced)
Two packets of Lipton original Soup Mix

Place roast in Crock pot, cover with plain water. Set on high until boiling.
Once is begins to boil, reduce heat to low, & add Soup mix. Let cook until meat becomes fork tender (usually 7-8 hours) add potato’s, celery, onion & carrots, cook until veggie's are fork tender (usually 2 hours). Add Mushrooms for the last 30 minutes.

Serve with Biscuits & Brown Gravy.

Here's my beef roast/veggie stew recipe that I created--very good stuff.

1 beef or pork roast
a few potatoes-skin left on
carrots
medium onion
frozen mixed veggies with carrots,peas,limabeans
1 12 oz can of beef broth
1 12 oz can of stewed tomatoes
1 lemon cut in half
Worchestershire steak sauce
oregano and bay leaves

Set temp on high.

Rub salt, pepper, herbs and garlic into the roast and place in bottom of pot. Add your sliced chunks of potatoes, carrots, and onion. Add can of beef broth, and stewed tomatoes. Add several splashes of Worchestershire sauce and squeeze lemon half into the mix. Add oregano to taste, along with a few bay leaves.

Cook 4 hours, then add the remaining frozen, diced/mixed veggies. Continue cooking on high for another 4 hours until meat falls apart on the fork.

It's luscious CK. If you cut the veggies in big chunks, it comes out like a thick stew. I fill the pot to the rim when I make it, and it lasts a few days for two people. Hubby begs me to make it all the time-would prob eat it everyday if I let him.
