Beef Stroganoff made in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:
1 lb. beef for stew, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) beef broth
1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion
Cream Cheese Spread


PLACE meat, onion and mushrooms in slow cooker. Add beef broth.

COVER and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours (or HIGH for 3-4 hours).

ADD cream cheese spread just before serving; stir until well blended. Serve tossed with hot cooked noodles.




The only dumb question is the one that goes UNASKED!!!!

made this today, it was a lil runny but it tastes good, but I think it has potential to taste better if it wasn't as runny. Pretty good recipe, its definately a filler. Im stuffed after 5 bites.

Okay okay, now its PERFECT, I love it. This is truly a great recipe!!!!!!!

Just a few tips if it ends up runny....
put two teaspoons of flour in, mix it up and let it sit for about an hour on warm.


also I brown my beef cubes before putting them in the crock pot.
