So I went to Menards yesterday and while shopping in the "nursery" section , overheard
the sales girl telling anouther customer that all trees/shrubs were buy one get one free. Well considering Iv priced some of their shrubs (and bought several lol)

I decided to have a looksee around incase anything grabbed my attention. Almost immediatly I eyespyed this fantastic little greenmound currant bush with roots all exposed at the top and even a bit of moss growing about the trunk.

It was love at first site! lol I have always wanted to learn how to bonsai and once bought a pre-potted bonsai evergreen (very small) but it died within weeks. Im really excited to get started on it but first have to find a good pot and the whole transplanting thing scares me lol. Even so I think it will be neat if I manage it without killing the poor thing first.

Id love any suggestions/tips from those with experince in bonsai'ing plants... Smile
